Metrics are the Strategy object for doing numeric calculations on fact data for analysis and use in Dashboards and documents. They are easy to create and can use a wide variety of different functions.
They are scalable for use with both basic calculations and complex nested ones with difficult requirements. This is all presented in a simple and easy to read interface to explain what the calculation will do. They can be setup in both Web and Developer and can be calculated either in the database or in Strategy's Analytical Engine.
