SYMPTOM
Some specific users may experience that when logging into the Strategy homepage the left panel where the create button is normally found is missing as depicted and highlighted below:
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.- Log to MSTR web with a normal user (no administrator) in a project.
2.- Home page for the user is "Summary"
3.- Click on the "Shred reports" link
4.- Minimize left bar
5.- Click on Share folders again
6.- Left bar disappears
CAUSE
There is a known issue where the state may not be kept during navigation from one folder to another and thus minimizing the left panel and losing the expand option for the left panel.
ACTION
This issue has been addressed in 10.4HF4 and 10.8. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of this fix.
WORKAROUND
This issue can also often be ommited by duplicating the user(s) experiencing this issue when logging in with the duplicated account the issue should no longer be experienced.
