MicroStrategy is well integrated with Microsoft Active directory with the capability to authenticate and import users and groups from an existing LDAP Server into the MicroStrategy Metadata.

Microsoft Active Directory is a very important feature in the Windows Server operating the systems, and is the foundation of the Windows domain security systems. Since its initial release, Active Directory has become the standard in enterprise directories. No official number seems to be published, but most professionals who understand the market would agree it is close to 90% in medium to large businesses. Strategy is well integrated with Microsoft Active directory with the capability to authenticate and import users and groups from an existing LDAP Server into the Strategy Metadata.
