Microstrategy v10.10 subscription text is truncated when editing existing subscriptions

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy when a user edits an existing Subscription, any message longer than 250 characters will get truncated.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Create an Email Subscription: enter the email, select the schedule, select your Delivery format, enter a subject
  2. In the subscription message, enter a message with more than 252 characters

    e.g. "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabbBBBBBB"

  1. Click ok to create the subscription.
  2. Edit the subscription

Noticed that is the email message has truncated all the character over 250 characters long. In the example above, all the capital B's will be truncated.
CAUSE:
This is a known limitation in Strategy with a default configuration
ACTION:
1. Find sys_definitions.xml in the product installation path:  Strategy/Web ASPx/WEB-INF/xml folder
2. Modify the length value from 250 to your requirement
<pr
        des="Length of the message allowed for the scheduled email and send now features"
        n="customMessageLength" scp="user_project" v="250" dt="integer" mn="1"
        class="com.Strategy.web.app.preferences.PreferenceDefinitionMinMax" />
3. Restart the Web server and re-connect to the Web project.
