This article addresses the Model Server internal error returned when opening fact objects in the Fact Editor in MicroStrategy Workstation. This article also provides a workaround to avoid this error.

Description 


Some facts objects do not open correctly using the Fact Editor on Strategy Workstation and one of the following errors is returned. 
Model Server internal error: Invalid argument: The requested fact does not contain the requested expression.

Why is this happening?


This is a known defect and occurs depending on how the fact was saved in the metadata.

Workaround


Please use Strategy Developer.
