This is an important announcement regarding an issue with MicroStrategy Narrowcast Server specific to certain Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. A fix is available in MicroStrategy 2019 Update 1. See the article below for additional details.

What is the symptom?
Strategy customers will see Strategy Narrowcast Server dynamic subscriptions fail with a “Segmentation failed” error. For a more specific error message, see the following Knowledge Base article: https://community.strategy.com/article/KB439853-MicroStrategy-Narrowcast-services-fail-with-segmentation-errors-Unable-to-close-the-Subscription-Book-Segmentation-failed-Service?language=en_US

    • Windows 2019
  • Strategy Narrowcast Server Version 2019
