KB485221: One of the page filter elements check box is cleared while corresponding data is still displaying when open a dossier in MicroStrategy 2021

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.

SYMPTOM:

In Strategy 2021, the page filter element 1010 面谈shows unchecked while the corresponding data is still displaying correctly.  Checking the element and saving the dossier and then re-executing it can temporarily solve the problem. Issue surfaces after a while.

CAUSE: 

The original ID form value for "面談" is 1010 when the choosing this element in the filter panel and saving the dossier, while "面談"'s ID form in the warehouse is changed to '1010 ' somehow which cause this element ID saved in the dossier definition no longer valid.
This could be observed from the Visualization Query Details:
When executing the dossier, where clause is:
where ([活動種別]@[CODE] in (1010, '1011 ', '1020 ', '1100 ', '1150 ', '1160 ', '1310 ', '1561 ', '1562 ', '1563 ', '1564 ', '1565 ', '1567 ', '1568 ', '1610 ', '8001 ', '8005 ')
And after re-choosing the element in the filter panel, the query details become below:
where ([活動種別]@[CODE] in ('1010 ', '1011 ', '1020 ', '1100 ', '1150 ', '1160 ', '1310 ', '1561 ', '1562 ', '1563 ', '1564 ', '1565 ', '1567 ', '1568 ', '1610 ', '8001 ', '8005 ')

ACTION:

 This is a known issue with Strategy 2021. 

WORKAROUND:

Consolidate the data type of the filtered attribute element value across different table into same.
