Usher provides multi-factor solutions built to integrate with existing enterprise physical access control systems to provide added security of physical assets.

Many organizations realize that they need to change or improve their existing physical access systems, but balk at the infrastructure costs and time it would take for a complete overhaul. With Usher, it’s easy to roll out strong, multi-factor authentication without replacing infrastructure. Usher is built to plug directly into existing physical access control systems, so organizations can modernize their facilities access in a quick and cost-effective manner.

Protect physical assets with a variety of authentication methods:
With Usher, organizations can issue personalized digital badges to every employee, customer, and partner who needs to access their facilities. By leveraging Bluetooth, QR codes, NFC tags, and digital keys, Usher let users easily access doors by interacting with the Usher app or by simply approaching a locked door. For tighter security surrounding high-profile assets and facilities, administrators can incorporate additional authentication factors, such as biometrics or one-time passcodes.

Leverage existing security infrastructure:
Usher comes with built-in support for a variety of popular PACS, making it easy to deploy modern physical security without overhauling existing infrastructure. Access privileges are maintained for each individual within existing PACS and are dynamically linked to a user’s Usher badge. These badges are refreshed routinely to ensure that they reflect all changes to a user’s privileges. For PACS systems that do not offer an API, a generic Usher PACS API is available to accelerate integration efforts.
