KB483650: Presentation Mode is not retained for Dossiers After Re-prompt in MicroStrategy 2019 Update 2

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.

Description

Clicking the re-prompt button and selecting a new prompt on a dossier viewed in Presentation Mode causes the dossier to change to Edit Mode.
 
 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a dossier in Strategy 2019 Update 2 or newer.
2. View the dossier in Presentation Mode.
3. Click the Re-Prompt button.
4. Change the prompt selection or cancel the operation. The dossier loads but is now in Edit Mode.

Why is this happening?

This is a known defect and has been fixed in Strategy 2020. 
Note: This behavior does not affect any of the core Strategy Library functionality.
