SYMPTOM:
Panel stack with transaction used as information window cannot be closed using the X icon after any validation / confirmation message pops up in Strategy Web 10.1 and 10.2
Follow the steps below to reproduce the issue:
- Create a transaction document.
- Add a panel stack and select "Use as information window" checkbox. Insert some text boxes. And configure the transaction and set some objects as "Input is Required".
- Add a Submit button and a Discard Changes button onto the panel stack. For Discard Changes button, select the "Require a Confirmation" checkbox.
- Add a grid in the document and set the atttribute in grid as selector targetting the information window.
- Run the document. Try below two ways to reproduce the issue:
- Select a record in the grid so that the information window pops up. Click the Submit button without entering anything. The system will prompt message "One or more required inputs have not been modified". Dismiss the message. Then the information window cannot be closed by clicking the X icon.
- Alternatively, select a record in the grid so that the information window pops up. Click the Dischard Changes button. The system will prompt message "Do you want to discard your changes?". Select Yes or No to dismiss the message. Then the information window cannot be closed by clicking the X icon.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web 10.1 and 10.2
ACTION:
This issue is fixed in version 10.3 of Strategy. Please contact Strategy Technical Support for further details.
