Relationship Set Qualification

Robert Prochowicz

Manager, Sales Engineering • MicroStrategy

In a Dossier you can restrict data based on relationship between attributes. This feature is called Relationship Set Qualification and you can apply it in a dossier advanced filter. You can use a relationship set qualification to display stores selling a specific shoe brand in the Los Angeles area, or customers from the same region as a one specific customer.

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
In my example I want to exclude from my grid all the employees that had sold anything on 1/24/2016. I want to filter Blue grid in such a way, so the result would be equal to the Green grid below.

Green Grid

Filter that I am going to apply:

You can read this filter as: a list of all employees MINUS Employees that registered sale on day 1/24/2016

I also attach this dossier in mstr format (Strategy 2020)
