Removing Duplicate Rows
Sometimes you need to deal with a data source that has duplicated data. This can be encountered when you're dealing with raw data volumes which have not yet been processed through an ETL. Such instances can be a problem, as they may impact the accuracy of your data analysis. When adding such data into Strategy, such duplicates can be removed through the data wrangling functionality available in Strategy Desktop, Workstation, and Web.
Two specific capabilities within data wrangling will be especially useful for this purpose:

  • remove unnecessary columns
  • use the function "Remove Duplicate Rows"
