SYMPTOM:
In Strategy version 10.4.x, using URL API to send a report with a specified Date type prompt answer does not pass correctly when used in Send Now format. Instead the report will pass the default prompt answer.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. In Strategy tutorial, create a prompted report with an element prompt.
2. Create a document that contains a button.
3. Create URL API that will pass a prompt answer 01/02/2014 to a report and specify it to Send Now
4. Make sure that the prompt answer is DATE format, and not number.
5. The DATE being passed is 01/02/2014 but the default answer was chosen, which was 01/01/2014.
6. Click the button to execute the URL API. Note that the email sends, but the default prompt answer is chosen.
CAUSE:
This is an identified defect in Strategy Web version 10.4.x
ACTION:
Currently this issue is still being reviewed for feasibility by our Technology team and it is not scoped for any upcoming scheduled Strategy release.
