Symptom

The error message 'The BiMap already contains the value' is shown while trying to log in Strategy Web, if the Intelligent Server and Web Server have been configured for Database Authentication and the project login mode has been set to 'Log in, then show the projects accessible by the supplied login'.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Configure the Intelligent server and Web server to use Database Authentication, as per https://community.Strategy.com/s/article/KB31832-How-to-use-Database-Authentication-in-Strategy-8-1?language=en_US
  2. Launch Strategy Web Administrator page and under Default Properties > Project List > select 'Show all the projects connected to the Web Server before the user logs in'.
  3. Open Strategy Web; all projects are displayed and the login to the project, configured for Database authentication in Step1, works successfully.
  4. Go back to Strategy Web Administrator page, and under Default Properties > Project List > select 'Log in, then show the projects accessible by the supplied login'.
  5. Open Strategy Web; the login page appears, provide the credentials defined for database authentication in Step1, and the error message below is shown:
