KB485193: The error “Invalid access token” shows when trying to create a HyperCard in Workstation using Trusted authentication in MicroStrategy 2021 Update 2

Symptom:

Hypercards cannot be created in Strategy Workstation when connecting to a Library environment that uses trusted authentication on 2021 Update 2.
 

Steps to reproduce:

1. Configure trusted authentication in Strategy Library using the steps in the documentation.
2. Connect to the environment configured in step 1 using Workstation.
3. Try to create a HyperCard and notice the following error:

This issue is a known defect in Strategy Library.
