KB441651:The metric “row count” doesn't display correct value in Dossier in 10.x

Lisha Ma

Senior Cloud Support Engineer III • MicroStrategy

When Document/Dossier gets created based on a file import cube, a metric named “row count” is generated automatically in Document/Dossier, and this metric doesn't display the correct value.

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
SYMPTOM:
When users create Document/Dossier based on a file import cube, a metric named “row count” is generated automatically in Document/Dossier, but this metric doesn't display the correct value.
For example, in the Excel, there are 241 rows with CountryID=1, and 20 rows with CountryID =4, but in Dossier, it displays as “1”.
