Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
SYMPTOM:
“The target object for shortcut XXX does not exist. Please fix metadata” error message appears when attempting to compare projects in Object Manager 10.9 and 10.10 as shown below:
After hitting on OK button of the error messages above, check the two shortcuts and migrate them. The following error message would pop up:
CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Object Manager 10.9 and 10.10. The two shortcuts are special system objects introduced for Dossier. They cannot be deleted.
ACTION:
This issue is fixed in Strategy 10.11 and the next Hotfix of Strategy 10.4, please upgrade to the above versions to take advantage of the fix
WORKAROUND:
Uncheck the two shortcuts in the comparison result list and do not migrate them.
