Two flavors of data science with Python and R packages for MicroStrategy

Robert Prochowicz

Manager, Sales Engineering • MicroStrategy

This demo uses Python and R packages to push data from Python pandas to MicroStrategy and vice versa.

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.

Description

Some Data Scientists prefer to perform their jobs by typing code (for example, coding in Python in Jupyter notebooks). Others prefer working in Visual Data Discovery interfaces such as the Strategy dossier. Both of these data scientists can use the mstrio library to either pull data from Strategy or to push data to Strategy cube.
Update: "mstrio" is now referred to as Python or R Packages for Strategy.
