This article addresses why the Custom Catalog SQL is not accessible when the Settings button in the Warehouse Catalog Options window is greyed out.

Description


When accessing Warehouse Catalog Options for a database instance connecting to Google Big Query, you may observe that the Setting button is grey out. Thus there is no entrance to customize the SQL statements.

Why is this happening?


This is a behavior per design as Strategy doesn’t support the Catalog SQL customization for Google Big Query.
