KB485291: Upgrading the Apache Log4j version for Community Connectors

Description

When upgrading from the Strategy 2021 platform release to 2021 Update 4 with Tomcat and Community Connectors installed, the Apache log4j version is still 2.13.3 under

Tomcat folder/webapps/CommunityConnectors

on Windows, despite being upgraded to a secure version.
You can't manually delete log4j 2.3.23 jar files since Community Connectors have a dependency on log4j.

Upgrade Community Connectors

1. Delete the

   CommunityConnectors

   folder under

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Strategy\Tomcat\apache-tomcat-9.0.54\webapps.

2. Manually copy

   CommunityConnectors.war

   from

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Strategy\CommunityConnectors\

   to

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Strategy\Tomcat\apache-tomcat-9.0.54\webapps\.

3. Restart Tomcat service.
