KB440296: User without privilege Export to PDF is able to export PDF in MicroStrategy 10.x

SYMPTOM:
 
In Strategy 10.x, User without privilege Export to PDF is able to export PDF.  And the user has privilege "Web export".
 
 
REPRODUCING STEPS IN TUTORIAL:
 

1. Create a user with all web privilege including "Web Reporter - Web export", but make sure user doesn't have "Common privileges - Export to PDF"
2. User is still able to perform PDF exporting from web.

 
 
CAUSE:
 
This is a working as designed behavior with Strategy 10.x.
 
"Web export" privilege decides whether user is able to see the export menu.
 
 
ACTION:
  
There is no action needed.
