SUMMARY
This document describes a known with importing data from the Dossier interface in Strategy Secure Enterprise 10.10 and 10.4 Hotfix 6. A fix for this issue has been included in this article.
SYMPTOM
When attempting to import a new dataset from any data source such as Excel, CSV etc., within the Dossier interface in Strategy Secure Enterprise 10.10 and 10.4 Hotfix 6, the following error is seen after users select a source and choose to finish publishing the cube.
(Internal Error: DSSDocumentDataPreparationTask::Run(): Error evaluate views info, job XXX, Error Code=-2147467259.)
CAUSE
This is a known issue with Strategy Secure Enterprise 10.10 and 10.4 Hotfix 6
ACTION
A fix for this issue is available in 10.4 Hotfix 7 and 10.11. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of the fix. For users on Strategy version 10.10, the fix is available as a patch on top of Strategy Secure Enterprise 10.10 and can be downloaded from the links below. The readme (including instructions on how to apply this patch) corresponding to this code fix is available in the zip files and is also attached to the end of this article.

WORKAROUND
Access new data by choosing to perform the data import from Strategy Web using the 'Add External Data' option from outside the Dossier interface and use that dataset from the Dossier interface.
