KB483371: Users disabled from Web Admin User Manager can still be selected as recipients for email subscriptions

Symptom

When creating an email subscription, users that were disabled using the Web Administrator User Manager still show up under the available users that can be selected as recipients. The issue is specific to disabling users from the Web User Manager. The issue does not occur when disabling users through the User Manager in Developer.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create UserA and create an address for UserA.
2. Notice that when creating an email subscription, UserA shows up as an available recipient as expected.
3. Disable UserA through the Web Administrator User Manager.
4. Create an email subscription in Web.
5. UserA will still appears as an available recipient for the subscription.
6. Add UserA to the subscription.
7. The subscription fails for UserA when triggered.

Cause

This is an identified issue in Strategy 10.x-2019 Update 1. This issue has been addressed in Strategy 2019 Update 2.
 

Solution

To resolve this issue, upgrade to Strategy Update 2.
