Prior to Strategy 2019 Update 5, you could edit derived metrics in reports and dossiers without the "Web Create Derived Metric and Derived Attribute" privilege. However, starting in Strategy 2019 Update 5, you are required to have the "Web Create Derived Metric and Derived Attribute" privilege to edit derived metrics.
