This Knowledge Base article describes how some users may experience their page orientation change when using exporting to PDF from VI

SYMPTOM
Some users with larger data sets from Visual insights exporting multiple pages to PDF format may find the page orientation that is set to be landscape automatically switch to portrait after the first page. For example the first page of this Vi export appears in landscape:

Then the proceeding pages appear in portrait as such:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a VI dashboard base on Cube
2. Add an Attribute and Metric to have more than 50 rows
3. Add a Title of Dashboard
4. Add a Drop down selector
5. Export to pdf
CAUSE
In 10.8 we have provided three options for the paper orientation: landscape, portrait and Automatic.  The "Automatic" is consistency behavior with 10.6, the orientation is Portrait only when the grid width is small.
ACTION
This issue has been addressed in 10.8. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of this fix.
WORAROUND
Instead of selector displayed in the dashboard, this issue may be adverted using a selector in 'Filter' pan as shown below:
