KB485886: Wrong user info while using {&USER} in Dossier due to dossier cache.

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.

Symptom

User is using {&USER} in dossier to get the current user information but it might show wrong user info. Issue won't be reproduced if user runs the dossier for the first time.
 

Reproduction steps

1. Create a Dossier. Add text: {&USER}.
2. Save and run the Dossier.
3. Login as different user and run the Dossier. It is showing the previous user information.

Cause

It is caused by Dossier's cache.
 

Action

Generate cache per user only for the Dossier:

1. Create metric with formula Max(?[User Login]){~}, name it as "user login".
2. In Dossier's datasets panel, click "Existing objects", add the newly created metric and any attribute as a new dataset.
3. Drag the metric to text field.
