The XEG tool is a simplified tool to assist users in creating custom XQuery statements for use in retrieving data from Web Services. It presents a guided interface to produce standard XQuery language for use against a wide range of different Web Services.
The tool has options to assist against SOAP, REST, XML, WebDAV and REST-JSON based Web services. This permits for assisted creation of queries that can be easily moved into the main Strategy environment as XQuery based reports.
