Certified Gateways in Data Gateway Service

The following article describes the gateways certified to use with the Data Gateway Service (DGS).

As described in the product documentation:

  • Only database sources based on ODBC and JDBC drivers are supported.
  • Other on-premises data sources are not currently supported. For example, URLs, web services, Open Data Protocol, and more.
  • DGS is incompatible with redirect mode when a load balancer is positioned in front of a multi-node data source, such as Oracle RAC.
  • The following authentication methods are certified: standard authentication, SSL certificates, and OAuth authentication with public IDP.
  • Kerberos, OS authentication, and OAuth with on-premises IDP are not supported.

Certified Gateway List with Standard Authentication

Note: The following JDBC and ODBC drivers below are officially certified. Other JDBC and ODBC drivers not included in this list may work but are not officially certified or supported.

Progress Drivers to Support SSL

For all progress drivers, the database connection has the option to set the hostname. Using Hostname in Certificate, the driver only compares the server name in the certificate and the value in this field.

Simba or Native Driver to Support SSL

Simba or native driver parameters must be analyzed on a case-by-case basis to identify the appropriate settings to ignore hostname mismatches.
