• Strategy

This technical note describes how to hide the Prompt Details when a URL API link is used to execute a Strategy document.
Content
Symptom
In Strategy Web 10.x, users can create a URL API link to execute a Strategy document. Within this link, a "hiddensection" parameter can be added to hide specific parts of the default display, such as the header, footer, and path. For a prompted document, the Prompt Details section will display.

The following five values can be used for promptDetails in the format promptDetails=A_B_C_D_E
A: the left position where the bean should be displayed by the transform
B: the top position where the bean should be displayed by the transform
C: defining if the instance is to be defined as a Modal interface
D: defining if the instance is to be defined as a Dialog or not.
E: set the current instance as opened or not
In order to hide the Prompt Details section, add promptDetails=0_0_0_1_0 which means promptDetails is a dialog and is not opened.
The Strategy Internal Reference Number for this issue is: DE88116
