KB486010: “java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.jsp.jsp.Projects_005fLinks_jsp” error when accessing MicroStrategy Web

SYMPTOM:
The following error appears when users attempt to access Strategy Web:
An error has occurred on this page.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.jsp.jsp.Projects_005fLinks_jsp

CAUSE:
A possible cause is that files under Tomcat’s work directory are not right for some reason.
ACTION:

1. Stop Tomcat.
2. Navigate to “<Tomcat>/work/Catalina/localhost” and delete the “Strategy” folder.
3. Start Tomcat.
