How to configure MicroStrategy Office to use LDAP authentication
To configure Strategy Office to use LDAP authentication, perform the following steps:
Open the ProjectSources.xml file located, by default, under C:\Program Files\MicroStrategy\Web Services:
Open the projectsources.xml file and locate the AuthMode tag inside the Project Source that should use LDAP authentication. This AuthMode tag is specific to the Project Source in which it resides and must be changed for each Project Source within the .xml file that should use LDAP: <ProjectSource> <ProjectSourceName>Name</ProjectSourceName> <ServerName>Name</ServerName> <AuthMode> </AuthMode> </ProjectSource>
The tag MWSLDAP represents LDAP authentication. Place it between the <AuthMode> tags, as shown below: <AuthMode>MWSLDAP</AuthMode><BR>
Save projectsource.xml and restart the Web server to reload the file.
