The following knowledge base article describes an issue wherein the scheduled Enterprise Manager 9.x dataload will not start. A solution is provided.

SYMPTOM
In Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x, scheduled data load does not kick off even when the Strategy Enterprise Manager data load service is running. From the Windows task manager, it is verified that MAEMETLS.exe is running. Also, the process is running under a user account that is part of the administrators group on the machine and there are no errors in the Windows event viewer.

CAUSE
This issue can be seen on new installations of Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x where a scheduled data load has never worked before. The default schedule on the console is as shown below.

However, this schedule settings are not applied in the Windows registry. As shown below, the registry keys are mostly  blank.

ACTION
In the schedule page of Strategy Enterprise Manager Console  9.x, make any change on the schedule settings and click on 'Apply Changes'. The Windows registry now gets populated with required values for the scheduled data load to kick off.

Note: The values of the keys are dependent on the chosen schedule.

If desired, users can change the schedule settings back to the default settings. After making any changes on the schedule, users should click on 'Apply Changes' for the changes to get applied.
