KB43521: "Setup could not find the program’s verification file (BuildNo.txt)" error message appears when installing MicroStrategy 9.x

While installing MicroStrategy the following error appears: "Setup could not find the program’s verification file (BuildNo.txt)".

SYMPTOM:
The following error message appears during the installation of Strategy 9.x:

Setup could not find the program’s verification file (BuildNo.txt) to proceed with the installation of the selected products.

Please select the folder where the verification and data files are located.

 
CAUSE:
The BuildNo.txt file that contains the Strategy build number reference was not found.
 
ACTION:
Download the installation files again as of the Strategy Download site in https://software.Strategy.com/Download/index.aspx.
