Strategy Desktop allows marking of a hierarchy as a Drill Hierarchy, using a checkbox located at the bottom-left corner of the Hierarchy Editor:
'Use as a drill hierarchy' reflects two conditions:
- A value of the IDSSDimension interface: DimensionType.
- The dimension is part of the Project Drill Map.
DimensionType takes values from the Enumeration EnumDSSDimensionType. The following table summarizes the values:

The Drill Map Folder is located in '\Root\System Objects\Drill Map Folder\'. The name used by Strategy Desktop for the Project Drill Map is 'ProjectDrillMap'.
