Cloudera's open-source Apache Hadoop distribution, CDH (Cloudera Distribution Including Apache Hadoop), targets enterprise-class deployments of that technology.
CDH (Cloudera Data Hub) contains the main, core elements of Hadoop that provide reliable, scalable distributed data processing of large data sets (chiefly MapReduce and HDFS), as well as other enterprise-oriented components that provide security, high availability, and integration with hardware and other software.

Hadoop Gateway - Introduced with Strategy 10.7 Hadoop Gateway, this new data processing engine enables users to directly access HDFS files. The Hadoop Gateway specifically optimizes the performance of cube publication by reducing the data fetch and transfer time. Specific jobs will run on Hadoop and then be transferred back into memory on the Intelligence Server. Cloudera Search - With this component, users are provided near real-time (NRT) access to data stored in or ingested into Hadoop and HBase. Search provides near real-time indexing, batch indexing, full-text exploration and navigated drill-down, as well as a simple, full-text interface that requires no SQL or programming skills. Using the Apache Solr data connector, Strategy can import search results for advanced analysis.
