How to make sure to display the Intelligence Server's Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) in Web Admin page

There are situations where it is necessary to display the Intelligence Server's Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) in Web Admin page, especially in a multi-domain environment, where server name abbreviation can lead to issues.
One example could be, projects loaded on an Intelligence Server are not showing up in Web although the Web Server says it is connected to Intelligence Server, please refer to KB40656. The error message displayed in the instance of is  KB40656 "There are no projects connected to this web server. To configure projects, go to the Web Administrator"
Also, for Integrated Authentication, the fully qualified name of the Intelligence Server is often required. When providing a cluster with two nodes the second node shows not the fully qualified name and the fully qualified name is disconnected.
In order to ensure the Intelligence Server's Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) is displayed, please make the following change to the registry:
Windows
1. Ensure registry is setup properly. Either create DWORD HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\MicroStrategy\DSS Server\Castor\ReplyClusterMembershipWithDomainForWeb for 64-bit or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MicroStrategy\DSS Server\Castor\ReplyClusterMembershipWithDomainForWeb for 32-bit.
2. Set ReplyClusterMembershipWithDomainForWeb to 1.
Linux
The registry setting is:
 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MicroStrategy\DSS Server\Castor\ReplyClusterMembershipWithDomainForWeb
1. find this line in MSIReg.reg file:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MicroStrategy\DSS Server\Castor]
2. add this line under it:
"ReplyClusterMembershipWithDomainForWeb"=dword:00000001
WARNING:
Modifying registry values incorrectly may cause serious, system-wide problems that may require the re-installation of Microsoft Windows. Any edit of the registry is done at the user's own risk. Since these are user-initiated changes, they are not covered by any Strategy warranty. If using Microsoft Windows, the user should backup the registry and/or update an Emergency Repair Disk prior to alterations.
