In MicroStrategy Secure Enterprise, during an Enterprise Manager data load, the data load fails during the DSS Migration step and errors similar to the following are referenced in the MAEntMgr.xml log file: An error ocurred and COLUMN could not be loaded. SYMPTOM
In Strategy Secure Enterprise, during an Enterprise Manager data load, the data load fails during the DSS Migration step and errors similar to the following are referenced in the MAEntMgr.xml log file:

The error above references that COLUMN could not be loaded. This error can also occur in any MD object such as REPORT, USER, PROJECT etc.,

CAUSE
When users enable the Kernel > EM Migration trace on the Intelligence Server machine where the data load is executed and also check the DSSErrors corresponding to the time of the migration of the particular MD Object, errors similar to the following are seen in the logs:

Starting with Strategy Secure Enterprise, the 'Use parameterized queries' needs to be checked on the database connection used in the Statistics database instance, see also KB273206. If the corresponding setting is not enabled on the driver (at the DSN Level), this issue can be be seen.

ACTION
Make sure that that the corresponding setting at the driver level is enabled on the DSN definition. For example, for DSNs created with the driver, 'Strategy IDBC Driver for Oracle Wire Protocol', the option "SQLDescribeParam" must be enabled.
