KB320533: Error "Can't contact LDAP server" appears when user uses ".cer" as suffix of certificate

SYMPTOM:
When user uses ".cer" as suffix of server certificate file in Strategy 10.x, error appears as showed below.


An error occurred during authentication. Please contact your administrator: LDAP Server error (-1): Can't contact LDAP server.

 
CAUSE:
It is expected behavior.
ACTION:
Use ".pem" as suffix of server certificate and follow the technical below to configure LDAP connectivity using SSL.
