When a parent selector targets a child selector, the child selector does not update to an element, it updates to a blank element and needs to be selected manually in MicroStrategy Web 9.2.x. and later

SYMPTOM:
 When a parent selector targets a child selector, the child selector does not update to an element, it updates to a blank element and needs to be selected manually in Strategy Web 9.2.x. and later
 
Below is an example of a selector targeting another selector. When the parent selector is changed the child selector shows a blank value:

CAUSE:
 
This is a known limitation of Strategy Web 9.2.x and later
 
ACTION:
 
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available
 
 
WORKAROUND:
