SYMPTOM:

When trying to update schema in Strategy Developer 9.x, the following error appears:

ka0PW0000002x0nYAA_0EM440000002DBK.png

Object with ID 'Object_ID' and type 12 (Attribute) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted.

The error appears in 2-tier and 3-tier mode.

CAUSE:

This error occurs because there is an inconsistency in the metadata. In order to track down the cause of the inconsistency, customers encountering this issue should make note of Schema-related changes, Object Migrations, or error messages prior to experiencing the problem. Change Journaling, if it has been enabled, can help in preserving this information.

ACTION:

Run the latest version of ScanMD in order to fix the issue. The instructions on how to install and run ScanMD are provided in the following technical note :
KB483179: Using ScanMD to fix known logical metadata inconsistencies in the MicroStrategy Product Suite 2019 and later

Please contact Strategy Technical Support if you still need further assistance.
