Hive 0.13 (HiveServer2) is certified with Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1. This certification status currently applies to Strategy Intelligence Server 9.4.1 running on Windows, Linux and AIX operating systems - it does not apply to Strategy Intelligence Server 9.4.1 running on HP-UX or Sun Solaris operating systems. Also, this certification status currently applies to Warehouse configurations only - it does not apply to Metadata, Statistics or Strategy Narrowcast Server.
This is a post-certification since the testing was performed after the release of Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1. Therefore, the certification information (tabulated below) is not present in the Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1 General Information Readme file.

In order to use Hive 0.13 as a warehouse with Strategy Intelligence Server 9.4.1, users first need to install the DBMS object for Hive 0.13. The object is stored in a file called 'Hive0.13.x.PDS' and can be found in the zip file attached to this document. Follow the steps provided in the following Strategy Knowledge Base document to use this database object.

In addition to the above, modifications need to be made to the DTMAPPING.PDS file that is present in the Strategy installation. The PDS file found in the zip file attached to the end of this article needs to replaced on all the Strategy Intelligence Server 9.4.1 machines and the machines hosting Strategy Developer 9.4.1. After obtaining the new file, follow the steps below:
- Stop Strategy Intelligence Server 9.4.1.
- Create a backup of the original DTMAPPING.PDS file found at: <install_drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Strategy on a Windows machine.
- Replace the old DTMAPPING.PDS file with the newly obtained DTMAPPING.PDS.
Important Note: If users have a customized DTMAPPING.PDS for any other issue, those customizations will be lost with this new PDS file. Contact Strategy Technical Support in these cases where the DTMAPPING.PDS needs to be customized for multiple issues.
