SYMPTOM:
When users import an Excel file as a filter for ID Forms in an attribute qualification prompt in Strategy Web 9.4.1, the following error message appears:
Your answer must be a number.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy 9.4.1
Unlike Strategy Developer, Strategy Web 9.4.1 does not support binary files as an import filter. Although users can manually add additional file extensions, such as .xls, in the prompt preference the format of those files needs to be text as described in KB5583: Valid file formats for the Import Filter from File feature in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.x-10.x
ACTION:
This issue has been fixed in 9.5.1 and later. Please upgrade to take advantage of the fix.
