How to increase the Java Virtual Machine Heap size for MicroStrategy Web running on 64 bit Windows.

To increase the Java heap size for Strategy Web running on 64 bit Windows, follow the instructions below:

  •  Launch registry editor, and navigate to the following key:


    
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Strategy\JNI Bridge 64\Configuration\JVM Options\HeapMaxSize

  • Modify the minimum and maximum values to the same desired value. Make sure to keep the letter "M" next to the values. Only change the values. 
  • Save the changes and startup/restart IIS to take effect.
