In Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1, 32-bit ODBC Cloudera 2.5 drivers are certified to connect to Cloudera CDH 4.x for Strategy Intelligence Server running on Windows and Linux Operating systems.
Users need to use the Cloudera ODBC drivers when establishing connectivity to a secure Cloudera environment as the Hive (Strategy ODBC driver for Apache Hive Wire Protocol) and Impala (Strategy ODBC driver for Impala Wire Protocol) drivers shipped with Strategy cannot be used when connecting to secure environments.
Note: The Strategy provided ODBC drivers or the Cloudera ODBC 2.5 drivers can be used when connecting to non-secure Cloudera environments
