This document provides instructions on how to configure and run data loads on Enterprise Manager environments installed on Windows and Linux Operating Systems.

INTRODUCTION
This knowledge base article provides best practices for configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting Enterprise Manager 10.x. The articles and documentation referenced in this article can help provide users with the tools needed to setup and configure Enterprise Manager and to address issues encountered during the statistics logging and data load processes. 
The MicroStrategy Enterprise Manager guide is a useful resource providing a general overview of the product. 
ENTERPRISE MANAGER SETUP AND CONFIGURATION
Enterprise Manager 10.x is configured and monitored using Strategy Command Manager. Operations Manager and Health Center should not be used for monitoring Enterprise Manager in Strategy 10.x. The operations that were previously performed from Operations Manager > Enterprise Manager such as creating environment, creating data load and running data load etc., are  now done through Command Manager.

In Strategy 10.x, Enterprise Manager and Command Manager are available for UNIX/Linux Operating Systems as well. The GUI for Command Manager is the same on Windows as well and on UNIX/Linux Operating Systems.
